Biography:

Megan Rose joined the department in 2024 as a Clinical Educator with a primary focus in Pediatrics in outpatient, community care, early intervention and preschool settings. After completing her master’s degree in 2015, she worked as an occupational therapist in Winston-Salem, NC where she served the local community through early intervention. In 2017-2019, Megan moved to the Atlanta area and served as a school based occupational therapist and a home health therapist in both urban and rural settings. In 2019, Megan moved to the High Country and began serving local families in the early intervention setting. She learned valuable skills as a virtual provider while continuing to serve Appalachian families during the 2020 pandemic. Throughout her practice, she has supervised Fieldwork level I & II students to support the education of new practitioners and ensure a high quality of care for the communities served.

Megan is from Jacksonville, FL and now resides in the High Country with her family.  When she’s not facilitating messy play in the pediatric OT clinic, she can be found tending to her tea garden or splashing around with her toddler in the Watauga River.
